Harald Hermann ROSSI, born on September 3rd, 1917 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Prof. Dr. Oswald Rossi (high school professor), lived in Wien 3, Erdberger Lände 22, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1938/39 at the Philosophical School in the 4th year of his studies and took courses in Physics.
He emigrated to Great Britain in 1939 and could continue his studies at the University of Bristol, moved to the USA in 1940/41 and graduated there at the John Hopskins University in Baltimore, Maryland in 1942. He became a radiologist, physicist and iniversity professor.
